Whole-house filtration
Purest Flow X1.
One tank, every tap.
Purest Flow X1 puts one carbon tank between the street and your plumbing. Everything entering the home passes through its carbon first, built to lessen the disinfectants, odors and organic compounds a supply can carry, long before a faucet, a shower or a washing machine is reached.

What it does
What a single carbon tank does for the home
- I
Every room, every drop
Every drop is treated ahead of your fixtures and appliances, so the kitchen, the bathrooms and the laundry all draw the same filtered water.
- II
A cleaner taste and scent
Carbon is designed to help ease objectionable tastes and odors, and to reduce chlorine and many organic compounds. No brine tank is involved, so salt is never on the shopping list.
- III
Matched to your water
Which carbon is used depends on the disinfectant in your supply: ordinary activated carbon suits free chlorine, while catalytic carbon is chosen when chloramines are present.
- IV
Tends to itself
An automatic control valve backwashes the carbon bed from time to time, lifting, cleaning and redistributing it, and it keeps an eye on water use.

How it goes
How Purest Flow X1 finds its way to your home

- I
A free water test
It begins with a quiet look at your water: chlorine, hardness, pH, TDS, iron and manganese. The test costs nothing and asks nothing of you.
- II
A considered recommendation
Your results choose the system, never the other way round. You see one fixed price once the test is done.
- III
Careful installation
Purest Flow X1 is fitted where the main water line first enters the house.
- IV
Water you enjoy
Filtered water, from the first tap to the last.
Where it belongs
Matched to your water, not picked from a catalogue
X1 is fitted where your supply line enters the house, and each faucet, shower and appliance is then fed with filtered water. Carbon placed ahead of a softener can also lessen the chlorine its resin meets. Should your water also be hard, your test will say so, and Purest HydroFlo can do both jobs in one.
Each recommendation starts with the free test, and a price is named only once your readings are in.

Questions about this system
IHow does the whole-house filter do its work?
It sits on the supply line. Everything flowing into the house meets the carbon bed first, so each drop drawn anywhere indoors has already been filtered.
IICan the carbon be chosen to suit my water?
Yes. It comes with catalytic carbon or with granular activated carbon, so the choice can follow the disinfectant your supplier uses.
IIIDoes Flow X1 soften water?
No, X1 filters and does not soften. Hardness is a softener's task: PurestShield does the softening, and Purest HydroFlo does the filtering and the softening in a single system.
IVDoes it need salt?
None at all. Without a brine tank, salt never enters the picture, and nothing needs topping up.
VWhich should I choose, Flow X1 or Purest Fusion?
Neither needs a brine tank, and neither uses salt. The choice rests on your water, and your free test is where it gets read.
